My name is Alan Seabra, a linguist and trained teacher with a degree in Languages from UFRJ. I have dedicated over 15 years to education, and in 2021 I became a psychoanalysis practitioner.
I started my career at the Center for Psychoanalytic Studies in São Paulo, and today I am affiliated to the Brazilian School of Psychoanalysis, belonging tho the Freudian Field — which has a Lacanian orientation. I like the term psychoanalysis practitioner, because it contemplates the psychoanalytic tripod proposed by Freud, and the various other possibilities that the practice entails: I participate in study groups, conferences, clinical seminars, and various other events.
My clinic is based in São Paulo, for both in-person or on-line appointments, in Portuguese or English, for teenagers and adults. Feel free to get in touch and speak directly to me.
